The Growth Guidance System is a built to order wheelchair. Their are different options available for the base, the seat sling, the wheels, and all of the components.
The GGS allows air circulation all around the child, reducing the amount of body heat retained while seated. The child is easy to position and remove from the system. All supports are "quick-release" and swing away. The GGS comes with a 3-year growth guarantee, however the majority of children use their systems for more that 3 years!
The GGS is a "therapy specific" product which, when utilized appropriately, can significantly impact a child's posture and patterns of movement. It can be used as an "extension of the therapist's hands" in providing postural support and developmental challenge.

All components can be adjusted to accommodate for a child's lack of postural control, asymmetry, or to enhance a child's level of motor skills by providing proximal stability at the pelvis, trunk and shoulder girdle.
